We're the Millers (2013)
Low level marijuana drug dealer David Clark is robbed of his money and stash, some of which he owes to his supplier. His boss, wealthy drug lord Brad Gurdlinger forces David to smuggle marijuana from Mexico in order to clear his debt. Realizing that one man attempting to get through customs is too suspicious, he hires a stripper named Rose , a runaway teenage girl named Casey , and his virgin 18 year-old neighbor Kenny to pose as a bogus family called the "Millers".
The Millers make the drive across the border in an enormous RV in order to hide the drugs. David picks up the marijuana using the name Pablo Chacon, the name given to him by Gurdlinger. Shortly after the Millers leave the compound, the real Pablo Chacon, a powerful Mexican drug lord, returns with the American that was supposed to be smuggling the drugs across the border and finds that it has already been taken.
Returning to the border, the Millers attempt to look like an ordinary family but are stopped when a drug sniffing dog barks at their RV. They are pulled to the side and as their RV is about to be inspected, four illegals scramble out from under the RV and the officers take off after them, allowing the Millers to leave.
Because of the extra load of the marijuana on the RV, one of the radiator hoses breaks while going up a steep incline. A family they had encountered at the border called the Fitzgeralds, consisting of Don, Edie, and Melissa, catch up to them and tow the Millers' RV to a repair shop. On the trip to the shop, David learns that Don Fitzgerald is a DEA agent after finding his badge and gun in the glove compartment.--Wikipedia
Elysium (2013)
In 2154, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a luxurious space station called Elysium, and the poor, who live on an overpopulated, devastated Earth. While residents on Earth are policed by ruthless androids, Elysian citizens live in comfort and safety, surrounded by robotic servants. They regularly use man-sized medical devices in their homes that keep them free from disease (so called Med-Pods).
Max Da Costa, a former car thief and parolee, lives in the ruins of Los Angeles and works on the assembly line in one of the robotics factories of Armadyne Corp., the company that provides the space habitat, robots, and most of Elysium's weapons. Max grew up as an orphan and has spent much of his life in prison. After an altercation with a robot officer results in a broken arm, he reconnects with a childhood friend, Frey, who works as a nurse in the rundown County Hospital. Frey's daughter Matilda is dying of leukemia.
When a caravan of illegal immigrants from Earth attempts to reach the space station, Elysian Secretary of Defense Jessica Delacourt activates vicious mercenary Kruger , who works on Earth as a sleeper agent, and orders him to shoot down the shuttles in a covert mission. Disapproving of her methods, Elysian President Patel reprimands her, and Kruger is fired. Delacourt, vowing to protect Elysium and her own power, convinces Armadyne's billionaire CEO John Carlyle to write a program that can override Elysium's central computer and make her President. In return, she offers to guarantee renewal of Armadyne's defense contracts for the next two hundred years. Carlyle agrees to the coup, and after creating the program in his office on Earth, he encrypts it and uploads it to his brain for safekeeping until his return to Elysium.--Wikipedia
The Great Gatsby (2013)
Nick Carraway, a Yale University graduate and World War I veteran, is staying in a sanatorium to treat his alcoholism. He talks about a man named Gatsby, describing him as the most hopeful man he had ever met. When he struggles to articulate his thoughts, his doctor, Walter Perkins, suggests writing it down, since writing is Nick's true passion.
In the summer of 1922, Nick moves from the U.S. Midwest to New York, where he takes a job as a bond salesman after giving up on writing. He rents a small house on Long Island in the (fictional) village of West Egg, next door to the lavish mansion of Jay Gatsby, a mysterious business magnate who holds extravagant parties. Nick drives across the bay to East Egg for dinner at the home of his cousin, Daisy Buchanan, and her husband, Tom, a college acquaintance of Nick's. They introduce Nick to Jordan Baker, a cynical young golfer with whom Daisy wishes to couple Nick.
As the summer progresses, Nick receives an invitation to one of Gatsby's parties. Upon arriving, he learns that none of the guests at the party, though there are hundreds, have ever met Gatsby himself, and they have developed multiple theories as to who he is: A German spy, a prince, even an assassin. Nick encounters Jordan, and they meet Gatsby, who is surprisingly young and rather aloof, in person. Towards the end of the party, Gatsby's butler informs Jordan that Gatsby wishes to speak with her privately.
Gatsby seems to take a liking to Nick, inviting him out for numerous occasions. Their friendship furthers when Gatsby takes Nick out to lunch with his friend Meyer Wolfshiem, a gambler who fixed the 1919 World Series, where Nick learns that Gatsby was born to very wealthy people that have already passed away. During the lunch, they run into Tom, Gatsby appearing uncomfortable throughout the exchange. Through Jordan, Nick later learns that Gatsby had a relationship with Daisy in 1917, and is still madly in love with her, throwing his extravagant and wild parties in the hopes that she will one day appear at his doorstep. On most nights, he can be seen reaching out across the bay to the green light at the end of Daisy's dock. He now wants Nick to arrange a reunion between him and Daisy. Nick invites Daisy to have tea at his house, without telling her that Gatsby will be there as well.
Star Trek Into Darkness
After being summoned back to Earth Kirk loses command of the Enterprise, and Admiral Christopher Pike is reinstated as its commanding officer. When a secret Section 31 installation in London
is bombed, Pike, Kirk and Spock meet with Starfleet commanders to
discuss the hunt for the bomber—rogue Starfleet agent John Harrison.
The meeting is attacked by a jumpship piloted by Harrison. Kirk
destroys it, but Pike is killed. Harrison escapes by transporting to the
Klingon homeworld of Kronos. Kirk is reinstated as the Enterprise's captain, and is ordered to find Harrison by Admiral Alexander Marcus. Marcus supplies the Enterprise with prototype long-range photon torpedoes, ordering Kirk to fire them at Harrison when he is within range. Montgomery Scott resigns in protest when he is forbidden from inspecting the weapons. Pavel Chekov is promoted to chief engineer and Dr. Carol Wallace—a science officer with expertise in the new weapons—joins the crew. Spock, Dr. Leonard McCoy and Uhura convince Kirk that it would be better to capture than kill Harrison, so he can be tried.--Wikipedia

Pain and gain
The film opens with Daniel Lugo running from large numbers of heavily armed policemen, only to be hit by a police cruiser. Then the story goes back in time a few months. Lugo is a schemer and recently released convict, who served time for Medicare fraud. Sun Gym owner John Mese hires him to increase membership and make the gym more fitness based. Lugo triples the gym's membership within six weeks and befriends trainer Adrian Doorbal . Doorbal, a bodybuilder, uses steroids, which render him impotent. Lugo soon lusts after the earnings and lifestyle achieved by a new gym member he begins to train: Victor Kershaw, who Lugo believes is a crook. Inspired by motivational speaker Johnny Wu, Lugo decides to be a "doer" and hatches a plan to extort Kershaw for his assets by kidnapping and torturing him.
Lugo recruits accomplices Doorbal and Paul Doyle, a recently released cocaine-addicted convict who has turned to religion. Though Doyle is reluctant to join the team, he soon caves in after a violent altercation with his priest. This "Sun Gym gang" unsuccessfully attempts to kidnap Kershaw at home, but incapacitate him with a taser outside his deli and take him to a small warehouse he owns (which is stocked with sex toys). The kidnappers disguise their voices, but Kershaw identifies Lugo from his distinctive cologne. The scheme goes as planned otherwise: Kershaw makes calls, under duress, to provide fake explanations for his disappearance, gets his family to move out of state, and signs the documents which transfer his assets to Lugo. Lugo even bribes John Mese to notarize documents in Kershaw's absence, by presenting documents signed by Kershaw and using Kershaw's money to sponsor the Sun Gym.--wikipedia
Now you see me
Four gifted magicians —J. Daniel Atlas, Henley Reeves, Jack Wilder, and Merritt McKinney—are brought together by a mysterious benefactor, and, one year later, they perform in Las Vegas as "The Four Horsemen" sponsored by insurance magnate Arthur Tressler. For the finale of their performances, the Four Horsemen invite a member of the audience to help them in their next trick: robbing a bank. The man is apparently teleported to a bank in Paris, where he activates an air-duct which vacuums up the money and showers it onto the crowd in Las Vegas.--Wikipedia
